Introduction

My name is Daniel Haynes, a North Carolina based interior design student, currently attending Randolph Community College. Prior to becoming a full time student here, I worked as a bookkeeper for the State of NC. In my spare time I used remodeling projects, some woodworking, and renovations of my home as a hobby. Upon finding this program exists and encompasses many of the things I enjoy doing on my own I began to research, and realized that this may be a good fit. Starting to learn AutoCAD, SketchUp and connecting some of the dots in my other courses I began a second semester and look forward to completing this program and entering a career that I enjoy.

This site will provide a space to share the work I am completing in my courses. This is a good way to review lessons learned, and help connect the topics learned on those projects to my other courses. My plan is to post some of our major projects and my thoughts on what we were able to learn throughout the process of their completion.
